Hello,
About 2 years ago I heard a song by Rachel while driving to work-i didnt know either the song or Rachel before but the music was so interesting that I had to search for more Information - it ended in buying all her albums. As a great fan of real handmade music she is a great talent and I really like her music- there could be lot more musicians doing things like her- but in Germany you do not often hear that kind of music on the radio- too much mainstream and pop ... so you have to search for yourself. With Rachel I found a new interesting artist.
Greetings,
Hans-Werner

Rachel,
I saw you this past Friday at the Aladdin and what a surprise. You have now moved to the top ten of my favorite female artists. Not sure how I missed you all this time?? Bought two albums while there and thanks for sighing them both. Listened to both on the way home and now want more. And you an Oregonian too. Keep it up, keep them coming and come visit us in Astoria. You would be very welcome and I would be happy to make intros to venues. Thanks for the pinch. Your new fan, Bill at the Beach. ps. what don't you like about your Epiphone?

Great show at the stables in milton keynes last night - I took my nine year old daughter and she loved it. Well worth the 3 hour round trip (but my wife wasn't impressed by my daughter waking her up after midnight to tell her that she'd enjoyed the concert!). It was a great venue. Purchased the live album and it's great. Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to say Thank you for last night in Finedon...so good to see you...so weird seeing you there in a little village bar, it reminded me of the time I went and saw Tim O'Brien and Darrell Scott afew years back at Kingscliffe Village Hall...just so strange to see just brilliant musicians in such surroundings, but I beleive it is a much better way to hear you. The Stables is good, but this was much more intimate...I even stood behind you at the bar...good grief, I was saying to myself..thats Rachel Harrington standing in front of me...so surreal...ha ha..maybe I should get out more.
Brilliant stuff, I only wish you could have played all night.
Bought your live album, and after you signed it you thanked me and I nearly collapsed in a heap at your feet..Rachel Harrington just spoke to me...good grief, I really should get out more...ha ha ha.
Thanks again for all the enjoyment your music has given me.
Your performance last night reminded me of Michelle Shocked, Gillian Welch and even the Waifs at different points.
Love what you are doing..good luck for the future.

Rachel,
WNCW, a public radio station in Spindale, North Carolina, turned me on to your distinct sound. When are you going to grace our presence here in the Southern Mountains? You would love it here in the Blue Ridge. Your songs are an inspiration, soulful and hauntingly familiar. I have been listening to you perform them my entire life here in Appalacia. It is as though you have been channeled here from your native Northwest. Keep up the good work.

Having originally gone to see Richmond Fontaine at the Luminaire (UK) in the latter part of '07, it was a "BONUS" to see Rachel with Zak play there too. I was taken with Rachel's sweet vocals and soft country tones. I'm now enjoying the album "The Bootleggers Daughter", and fav track: Walk to you. I'm sure that the songs will sound even better when the summer months come along, lazing in the hazy sunshine!! Looking forward to Rachel's next visit to the uk later in 2008....Happy New Year one and all!!
